Shianda

The Estonian volunteers have reached the Shianda village now, met Esther and local Wefoco staff-volunteers.

Last few days we have made tens of home visits to local families in nearby areas to gather more current data by interviewing the people. The information will be later sorted and filed.

Some of the families have been living in very poor conditions so far. For example, there are child-headed families, and families supported only by one grandparent. Also we’ve spotted several cases of different sicknesses etc.
