A handicraft project

November 1st, 2013

Last month a group of women from different areas were trained on making handicrafts – and as a result they made over 70 sets of handicraft-jewelry. The jewelry sets will be put on sale in Estonia (Europe) in a shop alongside with handicrafts and shea-butter (sheavõi) from Uganda, Ghana and Afghanistan. The aim of this trial project is to measure the costs and profits of jewelry making and the market if it could be sustainable in the future or not.
